Sometime around mid to late 70s, one of the last remaining tannery structures was demolished. We drove up and took some of the old beams from the pile. I recall marvelling at the construction techniques.

This owner seems to be a railroad fan as he has a real nice diesel that he's fixed up and painted. During the Christmas holiday he even puts Christmas lights all over it and parks it near the street for folks to see.
